We had a brilliant evening performing on the stage of the National Concert Hall as part of the Irish Association of Youth Orchestra‘s Festival of Youth Orchestras!

This concert was the first time many of our young musicians performed at the National Concert Hall. The occasion was made even more special as the concert was shared with our friends at the Limerick School of Music Orchestra and Julianstown Youth Orchestra.

IMYO’s programme included the premiere of Tim Doyle’s Sliabh Rua, which was written especially for the orchestra. The full programme for the performance was:
– Suite from The Nutcracker by P.I. Tchaikovsky (arr. Isaac)
– Sliabh Rua by Tim Doyle
– How To Train Your Dragon by John Powell (arr. O’Loughlin)
